About FDi

Fujifilm's FDi technology provides surperb digital picture quality for any media - digital or not - to ensure you get perfect photos every time! Have a look at the About FDi section to find out what it can do for your photos.

Get high-speed image enhancement that would be impossible without digital technology.

Get your film saved to disk or CD so you can view them on your computer, send them via e-mail or post them on your website.

Lost the negative? Get print to print copies with absolutely no loss of image quality...and sometimes a whole lot better.

Get, for the first time ever, in store, high quality photos from your digital media. And, best of all, get it all at normal high street prices.

Whatever type of camera you use ... Whatever medium you're on ... you can now get fantastic photos easily on the high-street or on-line.

Now here's the real beauty of FDi:
an easy to use touch screen in high street photo stores that puts a whole range of photographic options into your hands -so you get the images you really want.

If you use traditional photo technology, you'll need to get your negatives/slifes digitised before you can use this system - unless you select the print to print service.

If you bring in your images on any digital media, just follow the on screen instructions, make the adjustments you want and then send them off for printing with a touch of the screen.

Don't worry about the image size or format, the FDi Digital Photo Centre can read any image file and automatically determine the optimum print size available so yo don't get anything less than surperb photo-quality.

Because it's self service, you don't have to leave valuable media cards, risking loss and damage. Simply download your images, place your order and retrieve your card.

FDi Digital Photo Centre can handle a whole range of image enhancements.

It makes red-eye disappear and you can make simple colour adjustments, choosing black and white or even sepia.

Then, when your image is picture perfect, Digital Photo Centre lets you zoom and crop until you've got the framing and format you want.

Finally, when you send your images for printing, high speed automatic corrections mean they will be adjusted to compensate for a range of easy to make mistakes, imcluding over or under exposure.
